4 days - Action packed family getaway to Finnish Lapland
This action packed independent holiday is perfect for families looking for a magical experience and a New Years celebration not to forget. Take part in safaris with huskies and snowmobiles, visit a real reindeer farm and enjoy the endless fun in the snow.
Staying in intimate cosy cabins or a family hotel, this tour will give you wonderful family memories to last a life time.
Transfers from Kittilä airport (for scheduled flights).
International flight tickets, meals other than described, alcoholic beverages and soft drinks, travel insurance, visas, gratuities and any items of personal nature.
Arrival at Kittilä airport and transfer to Muonio. You will be issued with warm winter clothes either tonight or tomorrow morning. Dinner and overnight in cosy hotel room or cabin.
Start the day with breakfast and then this morning we head out by snowmobiles, it will be 2 persons per snowmobile with one driving and the chance to swap drivers halfway. We will cover approx. 30km. After the safari, lunch will be served in the main restaurant. In the afternoon, you will go to the husky farm where you will have a guided tour and meet some of our husky pups. Learn a little about the dogs before enjoying a 15km safari, 2 per sled. On your return meet with your guide who will give you information about the hotel, activities and the phenomenon of the Northern Lights whilst enjoying a local drink and snack.
This evening there is a chance to head out for some Northern Lights watching. By snowshoes your guide will take you away from the light pollution, a hot drink will be enjoyed on route.
After breakfast we will transfer youto a local reindeer farm to meet the reindeer. You will have a chance to feed them, learn how to throw a lasso and experience a short reindeer ride. Lunch will be served in the ice restaurant after which we will head to Arctic Sauna World.
Here you can relax in the 4 different saunas and experience the water features on offer. Dinner in the restaurant and overnight in cozy hotel room or cabin.
Tonight a New Years celebratory buffet will be served and an evening with fireworks including a drink at midnight.
After breakfast, independent transfer to Kittilä airport.
Price per person, twin share. Quad share price is 2 adults + 2 children (4-12 years old). Single Supplement available.

*Lunch in the ice restaurant is weather dependant. Should the ice restaurant not be ready or the temperature be extremely cold lunch will be served around the fire in a traditional kota .
This program is suitable for those aged 5 years and over. If you would like to add a private Santa visit, this can be arranged.
