On arrival at Keflavik International Airport, you will be welcomed and driven to your accommodation in Reykjavík. After settling in, start exploring this lovely capital with your private guide. Be sure to check out the design stores and cool cafes in central Reykjavik, afterwards.
In the evening you can enjoy a gourmet dinner at one of Reykjavik's many fine restaurants - taste the fresh Atlantic seafood or free-range lamb that Iceland is famous for.

Day 2 - Golden Circle Private Tour and Northern Lights Evening Tour
Today, sit back and enjoy a 320km round trip out of Reykjavik, visiting the famous Golden Circle route of Iceland. Starting with the Þingvellir National Park, continuing to the Geysir Geothermal Area and the last stop at the Gullfoss waterfall before returning home mid-afternoon. Highlights include walking the grounds of Þingvellir and learning about this UNESCO designated world heritage site where Iceland’s parliament, Althingi, was founded in 930 AD. It is also where the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates slowly drift apart.
With your guide, visit the all-powerful Gullfoss waterfall on the Hvíta River. Once there, you can get up close and personal with the two-tiered waterfall by walking along the many paths around the cascading water.
Ready for some action? Next is a stop to the home of the namesake of all geysers “The Great Geysir” hot spring. This area is dotted with bubbling puddles, whistling steam vents, and colourful algae deposits. Although Great Geysir is currently dormant, nearby Strokkur geyser puts on quite the show every few minutes blasting boiling water high up into the air.
It always depends on the weather, but even in the summertime, be aware that the weather can change in 5 minutes. That's why it is always best to have waterproof clothes, warm clothes, and comfortable hiking shoes.
This evening, take a journey away from the bright city lights of Reykjavik into the darkness of the countryside in hopes of seeing the magical dance of the Northern Lights on a private tour. Your private guide will have consulted the weather charts and have planned the best options within a short distance of the city for the Aurora shows this evening.

Day 3 - Visit South Iceland, Vík and the black beach
This full day private tour is a journey down to the southern coast of Iceland through the country’s lush farmlands, majestic mountains, glaciers and volcanoes, with the interior on one side and vast Atlantic Ocean views on the other. Once you have departed the city centre with your private guide, the landscape quickly changes and soon you arrive at the Seljalandsfoss waterfall. With your guide, walk around and behind the falls along the paths. The staircase and paths around Skógafoss waterfall allow you to climb alongside the cascading falls (i.e., bring a jacket).
Next stop is just outside of the beach village of Vík, with the opportunity to admire the mighty ocean waves crashing onto the black sand beach and the tall sea stacks of Reynisdrangar piercing out of the sea or climb the Reynisdrangar basalt rock formation. You will have time to explore Vik and meet the locals.
