Day 2 - Reindeer Farm Visit and Northern Lights Excursion
Visit authentic reindeer farm outside of Rovaniemi and enjoy unforgettable sleigh ride through the snowy forests.
The tour is guided by professional photographer, who will take the most memorable photos from the visit and will send them to your email afterwards!
You will meet the reindeer herder family who have been practising reindeer herding at least 5 generations in this traditional farm. During your visit you will explore everyday life in the farm, get to feed the reindeers and take 2 km ride on a sleigh pulled by reindeers. You will also hear some great stories and facts about reindeer herding in Lapland and how it is an integral part of the nature and culture in Northern Finland.
In the evening, experience the magic of Lapland and photograph the amazing Northern Lights! While going Aurora hunting with our professional guides, you have the best possible chance to witness the Northern Lights. During the night, we normally go to 2-3 different locations which are always chosen according to local weather conditions and photographic opportunities. This means that if we have a clear sky and a possibility to see the Aurora 100 km away, we will take the chance and drive you there.

Day 4 - Wilderness Snowshoe Adventure
After breakfast, head out to explore the surrounding nature on Snowshoes.
Snowshoeing is one of the best ways to move in deep snow. Dating back at least 3500 years, this ancient form of winter hiking is ideal for exploring Lappish nature offering great opportunities for photography. Snowshoes grant us access to remote areas allowing us to connect with untouched nature and take in the glorious atmosphere of Arctic forests.
From Rovaniemi we will travel by minivan to our location hidden in the woods. During th excurions we will have a break in an authentic Lappish Kota shelter where we will build a campfire and enjoy some snacks while photographing Arctic nature. If we are in luck, we may encounter some wildlife during our adventure.
Afternoon is yours to enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the hotel or book alternative activities. If the skies are clear, look out for the magical Northern Lights.
