Small Group Journeys
There is something particular about travelling in a small group through a landscape this vast and this quiet. The scale of the Nordic region rewards slowness, and that is exactly how our small group journeys are designed, with enough time in each place to move beyond the first impression.
Our groups are generally capped at 18 travellers, which changes the quality of every experience. Access is easier, guides can speak to you rather than at you, and the places you visit feel like discoveries rather than stops on a schedule. A 50 Degrees North tour leader travels with you from the first day to the last, supported by local guides with genuine knowledge of each region.
Accommodation is handpicked for character and sense of place, from boutique fjord hotels and traditional fishing cabins to glass-roofed aurora lodges and the original ICEHOTEL in Swedish Lapland. Most meals and all transport are included, so the journey itself can simply be experienced rather than managed.
Our small group tours span Norway, Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Iceland, running in all seasons. Whether you are following the midnight sun along Norway's western fjords or hunting the northern lights above the Arctic Circle, each itinerary is built around what makes a destination worth travelling this far to see.
