Norway Walking Adventures
Guided Norway Hiking Tours - our three new guided tours follow 50 Degrees North's signature style of taking travellers 'off the beaten path' and into hard to reach yet profoundly stunning and authentic parts of the Nordics. Designed and operated by people who are passionate and experienced hikers themselves.
We are proud to present three new active journeys through Norway's Fjord districts. Travellers can hike the forested paths and mountain peaks around Åndalsnes, be challenged by the Via Ferrata Loen and simply admire the stunning views at every turn. Ferry and premium mini-coach between quaint villages and charming guesthouses, clamber about the Viking museums and spend a morning experiencing the wildlife on a sea safari by rib boat. Idyllic in setting and a Nordic gastronomist’s delight, these active jaunts through Scandinavia’s most dramatic regions won’t disappoint.
Boutique accomodation include one of Norway's original mountain lodges, Hotel Aak in Åndalsnes, the beautiful seaside hotel, Knutholmen and the luxurious Hotel Alexandra in Loen.
All hikes are accompanied with expert, local guides. These new guided walking tours follow 50 Degrees North's signature style of taking travellers 'off the beaten path' and into hard to reach yet profoundly stunning and authentic parts of Norway. This is enabled partly by our use of a premium mini-coach with space for up to 12 people - both a highly flexible and safe alternative to public transport or a private rental car.
All three of these tours link together so you can do more than one. It also suits travelling parties with different fitness levels - individuals can join the guided hikes and the rest in the party can join the alternative programs offered on the standard tour option - i.e. 'Beautiful Norway' and 'Beautiful Norway Hike' run simultaneously.
Designed and operated by people who are passionate and experienced hikers themselves, these three tours get you to the heart of the Norwegian mountains and fjords. All the guided hikes in these tours offer breathtaking experiences that few travellers get to see for themselves.
