Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrive Oslo and transfer to your hotel
Arrive to Oslo and make your own way to your central hotel in the heart of Oslo. The Norwegian capital has a great deal to offer the discerning traveller, and you have two full days to discover the city with the help of an Oslo Pass and guided tours. We can recommend visiting some of the Oslo highlights, including the Kontiki & Fram museums, the Vigeland Sculpture Park, Ekerbergeparken and the Holmenkollen Ski Jump and Museum.
Discover the new area of Bjorvika with the new Opera House and Munch Museum and then explore the charming shopping streets, cosy cafés and exciting eateries of Grünerløkka. After going shopping at numerous design boutiques, vintage shops and flea markets, head to the Mathallen food hall for local specialties. Lastly, visit the new National Museum of Norway down by the harbour before finding a spot in one of the local fish restaurants for dinner.

Day 2 - Sightseeing Day of Oslo then hit the beach or forests
After breakfast, head out to explore Oslo along the waterways with a 3 hour guided tour with your personal guide. The program is flexible depending on what you would like to see as Oslo has a wide variety of museums to explore. Our guide can offer speciality architecture tours if desired. Your 48-hour Oslo card allows you free entry into many of the musuems, free public transport, hop on/hop off bus and much more.
Depending on the weather, is it time to hit the beach or a museum? You can go paddle boarding or book an hour on one of the floating saunas. The Viking and Kontiki museums are popular or if you are after an adventure, why not go ice climbing at the new SNO indoor ski centre.
This evening, we suggest a fjord sunset sailing trip or a 'engang grill' picnic in Frogner park.

Day 3 - Food Tour and Endless fun in central Oslo
After a morning at your leisure, head out for a 3-hour speciality food tour. Meet the guide outside the Chocolate Store called Freia on Carl Johan Street, for your walk around the city’s culinary haunts and hotspots. The city’s cuisine has a strong maritime theme and is now a foodie hot spot thanks to what’s known as New Nordic cuisine — food that revolves around nature, purity, freshness and simplicity.
Next, enjoy a peaceful walk in the city and together with the guide explore some of those hidden corners of Oslo that you might have a hard time finding. The guide will give you a taste of Norwegian typical dessert and together will walk along towards the food market.
Walk to some the city’s lesser-known areas and head for Mathallen, a covered market stuffed with food stands selling Norwegian and international produce. Enjoy some dishes aplenty as you browse the stalls, including rich local cheese made by small-scale producers. Pause at the raw food specialist Bondens Butikk to try Norwegian cured meat.
