Scandinavian Family Fun Tour

As locals, we know the hidden gems of our region and have discovered many of them with our own kids. We want to share some of our favourite experiences with your family and hope that your children will enjoy them as much as ours did! We have kept the itinerary quite flexible as we know how it is to travel with kids. This tour can be modified depending on the age of your children and your special interests as a family.

Begin your Djurgården exploration in the Vasa Museum with a private 2,5 tour. The Vasa ship capsized and sank in Stockholm 1628. After 333 years on the sea bed the mighty warship was salvaged so the voyage could continue. The museum offers lots of exciting things for children and adults to learn together.

Enjoy a lunch and delicious ice creams by the sea and continue your day getting to know one of the most popular pop groups of all times; ABBA. In ABBA Museum you will experience the feeling of being the 5th ABBA member. So find out what you would look like in their legendary stage costumes, sing at the Polar Studio, experience exciting 3D avatars, and enter the stage together with the band. Your material will be recorded on your personal ID number on your ticket.

On Djurgården you will find also the fairytale world of Junibacken and the amusement park Gröna Lund with plenty of attractions for kids and adults alike. Across the street from Gröna Lund is also Skansen – a popular open-air museum, complete with historical buildings, Nordic animals, a children’s zoo and an aquarium.  Photo: Johan Willner / imagebank.sweden.se
