Pin your favourite Nordic travel memory
We're inviting all of our past travellers to pin their most memorable moment on a shared map, a single place where journeys across Norway, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Iceland, Greenland, Faroe Islands, Svalbard and the Baltic States can leave a mark.
It's simple: share a photo, add your story, and drop your pin. If your memory was part of a 50 Degrees North group tour, we'd love it if you include the tour name.
The winner receives a $1,000 voucher towards a 50 Degrees North small group tour (excluding Christmas tours), or they can donate it on to a friend who has not yet made it to the Nordics!
From the Northern Lights over a frozen lake to a quiet evening in a fjordside village, every journey here leaves something behind. This is a space to collect those moments. You'll also be able to browse the map and see where others have been, and what stayed with them.
Members of the 50 Degrees North team have added a few of their own memories to get things started.
At the close of the competition, we'll choose our favourite entry and share it online. By entering, you agree that 50 Degrees North may share your photo and accompanying caption on our website and social channels if selected.

The rules
- Open to Nordic travellers aged 18+
- ONE photo per entry
- 50 Degrees North team entries are for inspiration only and not eligible to win
- The winner may be asked to share their first photo with us for use on our channels
The prize
A $1,000 voucher towards any 50 Degrees North small group tour, excluding Christmas departures. The voucher must be booked within one year of being awarded and travel must be completed within two years. The winner may also choose to gift the voucher to a friend and family member who has not previously travelled to the Nordic region.

Entries close on 30 June 2026.
The winner will be announced in July 2026.
