Bårdshaug Herrgård

Bårdshaug Herrgård

The majestic manor house was originally the home of industrial entrepreneur and man of the world Christian Thams – architect, minister, landowner and consul general. Now run by third generation owners.

Modern-day Bårdshaug comprises the manor house, a number of charming buildings dating from the 1890s and modern hotel buildings from 1980.

After a long day, you can relax in one of the lounges in the hotel lobby, or in Jaktbaren – the hunt bar – decorated with trophies, weapons and photographs from Christian Tham’s many travels in Africa. Salmon fishing is an attraction offered by this hotel.
