Uummanaq

Uummanaq is a sweet Greenlandic town, situated at the bottom of a distinctive heart shaped mountain at 1,175 metres high. Often it is possible to hear the huskies howling as you wander the town. A mesmerising view dominates the town as within the fjord, icebergs float so close you feel like you can touch them. This fjord is also shared with fin whales which play to the delight of visitors. There is an intimate museum to visit and an original Greenlandic house to explore. When visiting in summer, this town seems blessed with weather sunny.
