Visit the 'Succession' locations in Norway this summer

Anyone watch episode 5 of the latest Succession season yet? The Roys are in Norway, and the only spoilers we’ll share is that many of the actual locations from the episode are in our 'Scenic Norway' tour. So the good news is - you don’t have to be a billionaire to visit.

Norway's dramatic west coast provides the spectacular backdrop to numerous scenes in Season four of the award-winning HBO series Succession and at 50 Degrees North, we have the perfect itinerary for you to follow if you want to visit these locations.

During Succession’s episode five, many of the actual locations visited are part of our ‘Scenic Norway’ mini-coach tour. This 7-day independent tour travels through the area between Ålesund and Trondheim throughout this summer. Spots are still available and guaranteed.

Enjoy lunch or dinner at Eggen Restaurant, high on the mountains near Åndalsnes. With panoramic fjord views at the top of the Nesaksla mountain, you can ride the Romsdal gondola to the top, if you don't want to join our guided 2-hour hike walk up.Fredrik Ahlsen - Eggen Restaurant

Our premium mini-coach will drive you along the Atlantic Road, a spectacular 36-kilometre coastal road, with stops and all the highlights included.

Like the Roys, experience one of the most famous Norwegian Scenic Routes, Trollstigen , 'The Troll Ladder', a visual masterpiece. The road twists through eleven hairpin bends as it climbs up to Stigrøra, 858 metres above sea level.

Whilst we drive past Juvet Landscape Hotel, Valldal, close to the breathtaking Geirangerfjord on the ‘Scenic Norway’ tour, only the luck few who booked this hotel years ago can stay. The road passes close by, and we can sneak some peeks! But don’t despair, the hotel accommodation on this tour is equally as unique and picturesque as Juvet.

Our ‘Scenic Norway’ tour was ahead of its time – showcasing this beautiful region of Norway before the HBO location search team found it!! The trip runs from June to September with fixed departures from Ålesund on Thursdays.
