Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrive Oslo and private transfer to your central 5* hotel

Arrive in Oslo, the beautiful Norwegian capital by the Oslofjord. Meet your driver for the hour's drive to your centrally located hotel in the heart of Oslo. On arrival, you will have a 'meet and greet' with a guide to discuss your stay and how to make the most of your time. The Norwegian capital has a great deal to offer for the observant traveller. We can recommend a walk around the centre of town to view the Parliament, the Castle, and the Harbour area.

Good to know: An optional 1‑hour La Humla Suse urban nature experiences in Oslo can be added to this tour (and can be done on any day you are in Oslo). These one-of-a-kind encounters reveal a quieter, greener side of the city, either by exploring the elevated wildflower meadow at Ola Narr or experiencing the art-and-nature setting around Tracey Emin’s The Mother by the Munch Museum.

For full details on both experiences, see 'Urban Nature in Oslo - Optional Experience' under the Oslo days in the itinerary above. Please note: these add-ons are enquiry-only and must be booked in advance.

Day 2 - Oslo Highlights, Vigeland Sculpture Park & Urban Nature Discovery

Discover Norway's vibrant capital on a privately guided half-day walking tour. Stroll through the city centre and admire some of its most iconic landmarks, including the Royal Palace, the Norwegian Parliament, and the historic University of Oslo. Wander along lively Karl Johans gate, the city's main boulevard, lined with shops, cafés, and impressive architecture. Continue by tram to the renowned Vigeland Sculpture Park, home to more than 200 remarkable sculptures by Norwegian artist Gustav Vigeland.

Your exploration of Oslo then takes a different turn with a unique urban nature experience. Just minutes from the city centre, Ola Narr is a hidden green oasis where wildflower meadows attract an abundance of bumblebees, wild bees, and other pollinators. Accompanied by a local expert, learn about the delicate relationship between insects and native plants and discover how nature thrives within the city. You have the opportunity to safely catch and identify different bee species while taking in panoramic views from one of Oslo's most scenic vantage points.

This afternoon, some options that we can include are packrafting along the river, a sunset sailing trip on the fjord or perhaps a night at the Opera.
