Manshausen

At Manshausen, on Norway’s Arctic coast, adventurer Børge Ousland makes sure nature is part of every experience. Fish for fresh cod, fall asleep beneath the northern lights, and discover why hygge is key to happiness.

Here you will find designer Sea Cabins, designed to make your Manshausen experience very special. Each cabin is planned for sophisticated simplicity, while enhancing your intimate connection with the surrounding nature, sea and light.

The seacabins have a main bedroom with a 1,60m bed, separated by a partition from a small kitchenette area. Then a second bedroom which has 2 beds: 1,40, and another 90cm wide underneath if needed.Private toilet and shower. There can be a baby cot (subject to availability) but needs advance booking.

They are perfect for a couple, alone or with children on second bedroom, or can accommodate 2+2 couples if they are friends (although for the best experience at Manshausen we recommend to stay on the main bedroom, not the second smaller one and without the views).

Manshausen has brand new solar powered tower cabins at Manshausen in Leinesfjord, Northern Norway. The two cabins are named after legendary Norwegian polar explorers, Roald Amundsen and Fridthjof Nansen!

Both towers are placed on the old stone pier and have a beautiful and private waterfront location.

The first floor has a comfortable seating area with a glass front facing the sea, a fully equipped bathroom, coffee machine, bookshelf, storage space and a separate guest bed for one person under the stairs.

The second floor features a double bed, full glass roof and front, a small pull-out desk with chair, and in addition a French balcony facing the east and the morning sun.
