Lyngen Lodge Norway

White Christmas Norwegian style - four destinations to consider

There is so much more on offer in Norway in Winter..

Our region specialises in beautiful Christmas experiences. Down to the smallest detail, the Scandinavian Christmas experience will resonate with you. Christmas trees reign supreme and the careful decorating will inspire you for your Christmases to come. From early December, you can stroll the festive streets, go horse sledding around town, ice-skating on public rinks and feel the romance of the season. Our independent tailor-made Norwegian itineraries offer unique accommodation and exploration.

Lyngen Alps

Just east of Tromsø lies the Lyngen Alps where you will stay in a traditional Norwegian timber lodge, Lyngen Lodge, beautifully situated on the fjord. This is a perfect and tranquil place to observe the Northern Lights, combined with daytime activities such as dog sledding, snowmobiling, sea safaris skiing or snowshoeing. In-house Northern Lights photography assistance and a Northern Lights fact seminar enhance your understanding and experience.

We have a small group at Lyngen Lodge for this exclusive Christmas program, which we've packed full of adventures, relaxation, hearty local cuisine, reindeer safari, dog sledding, Christmas traditions and, if nature permits, the spectacle of the Northern Lights. Christmas at Lyngen Lodge.

Røros, Norway

Lillehammer, Norway

Known as the host of the Norwegian Olympics 1994, Lillehammer is a great base for White Norwegian Christmas.
