Explore Sweden on one of our new, short Nordic City Breaks

For UK nationals and other Europeans, Sweden presents an opportunity to explore Scandinavia sooner rather than later.

Sweden has surprised its neighbours and most of the world by its approach to the COVID-19 pandemic. Rather than imposing legally binding restrictions and lockdowns, they have opted for voluntary ones with only a few legal measures in place, such as a ban on gatherings of more than 50 people. Furthermore, citizens of EU/EEA countries, UK, Switzerland, Andorra, Monaco, San Marino and the Vatican are allowed to travel to Sweden and face no quarantine requirements upon arrival. This has been a controversial approach, with both staunch supporters and critics, and yet, it seems that it has not translated to a significant new wave of cases.

In fact, out of 31 European countries included in the list provided by the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC), Sweden has the 10th lowest 14-day cumulative number of COVID-19 cases per 100 000 inhabitants at the time of writing (mid-October).

Therefore, due to these facts and Sweden’s openness to travellers, we have introduced a new range of short Nordic City Breaks for those of you that are itching to visit Scandinavia as soon as possible – without the financial commitment of a long trip. The first three tours below focus on Stockholm, followed by a cherry on top: A chance to spend a white Christmas in a lovely, authentic boutique guesthouse in far northern Sweden!
