The Essence of Norway
Join us in Norway for an unforgettable experience! Norway is beautiful, but cost is often a barrier. With this itinerary we’ve done our utmost to remove that barrier and make it affordable, and at the same time make it an amazing experience. We would sell this to our parents!
We have designed an itinerary that takes in the absolute highlights on Norway, including the Svalbard archipelago. You will see the capital, Oslo, the spectacular fjords, the Hanseatic city of Bergen, go on a Hurtigruten voyage from Bergen to Lofoten through the Geiranger fjord and spend some amazing days at the Lofoten archipelago. Tromsø and the Arctic islands of Svalbard are also on the itinerary.
We’ve included all point to point transportation, accommodation in comfortable, charismatic and centrally located hotels. You don’t have to do much thinking before you get to a city and have to find a taxi to take you to your hotel. Then you will usually get a ‘city pass’ that allows you free access to a number of attractions and local transport.

In the neighbouring Archbishop’s Palace, the Norwegian Crown Jewels are kept. In Trondheim itself, the Hanseatic, waterside storehouses built on wooden stilts are just as charming as the Rococo-style Stiftsgården, the largest wooden building in Norway and residence for the Royal Family when visiting Trondheim. You then set a course for the northwest, past the beautiful Kjeungskjær lighthouse and thousands of little islands and picturesque rocky outcrops. After passing through Stokksund, the ship will arrive at Rørvik.
