Day 1 to 3: Beijing - Commune by the Great Wall
You will receive a personal transfer from the airport, or your hotel in Beijing, to the architecturally amazing Commune by the Great Wall, which is a private collection of contemporary architecture designed by 12 Asian architects. Commune by the Great Wall, Managed by Kempinski, currently comprised forty-two villas with 190 suites and eleven Presidential Suites, four restaurants, Anantara Spa, Kid’s Club and an outdoor pool. There is a private path accessing the Great Wall.
Two nights at the Commune gives you an opportunity to leisurely soak up the scenery and history of the Great Wall, escaping the hustle and bustle of Beijing. The building of the Great Wall of China was started as far back as the Qin Dynasty 221BC, with its last sections completed during the Ming Dynasty (1368 to 1690AD). The Great Wall stretches over 6000 kilometres across the top of China all the way out to its last frontier at Jiayuguan in the westernmost Xinjiang province. It was constructed to protect the country from northern invaders.
On day 3 you will receive a personal transfer back to the airport, or your hotel in Beijing.
China Southern Airlines has regular flights to Beijing via Guangzhou from most major international destinations.
